Step 1: Build the Table Base

Cut two pieces of 3/4-inch plywood to 9 feet long by 2 feet wide.
Cut two pieces of 2x4 lumber to 9 feet long.
Attach the 2x4s to the edges of the plywood, using 2-inch wood screws. Make sure the 2x4s are flush with the edges of the plywood.
