Instructions

Step 1: Cut the plywood

Cut the plywood to the desired size of your table. The most common size is 24 inches wide by 36 inches long. However, you can adjust the size to fit your needs.

Step 2: Build the frame

Cut the 1x4 lumber to the following lengths: two pieces that are 24 inches long, two pieces that are 36 inches long, and two pieces that are 18 inches long. The 18-inch pieces will be the legs of the table.

Assemble the frame by attaching the 24-inch pieces to the 36-inch pieces with 3/4-inch screws. Then, attach the legs to the frame with 1 1/4-inch screws.

Step 3: Attach the plywood to the frame

Apply wood glue to the frame and then place the plywood on top. Secure the plywood to the frame with 2 1/2-inch screws. Countersink the screws so that they are flush with the surface of the plywood.

Step 4: Sand and finish

Sand the entire table to remove any rough edges. You can then paint or stain the table to match your décor.

Step 5: Mount the table to the wall

To mount the table to the wall, you will need to use heavy-duty wall anchors. Position the table on the wall where you want it to go and mark the location of the mounting holes.

Drill pilot holes for the wall anchors and then insert the anchors into the holes. Align the table with the wall anchors and insert the screws into the anchors. Tighten the screws until the table is securely mounted to the wall.
